“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.” - Ben Franklin
Growing up we were always taught to shoot for the stars and follow our dreams. We came to college to work on those dreams, but would it not be easier with a little guidance?
During the Alumni Event on September 18th, we heard AMA alumni Mike Glassberg speak about a Linkedin group he created for mentoring and coaching. It is highly recommended you join this group, and you can do so by clicking here.
You may find yourself being slightly curious to exactly what this opportunity may offer, so allow me to explain a little…
It is extremely beneficial to have a coach while trying to figure out a path in life. It is even more awesome if you can be a coach to someone else who may need guidance. What this Linkedin group offers is a chance for you to post exactly what type of guidance you may need, and what type of guidance you may be able to offer.
Think about the strong networking connections you can gain from this opportunity. Also, you may be able to find a mentor/mentoree as a contact that you can reach out to on monthly or even a weekly basis.
So what do you have to lose? Just give it a shoot otherwise you may never know what it is you are missing out on.
Feel free to reply back with any questions. We would be happy to answer.
Once again, here is the link to the Linkedin group:
